March 2019 Bereavement Professional Section ChatHospice and palliative care organizations frequently staff, organize and provide their bereavement programs and services in unique ways to fit their particular needs. Many ask single individuals to wear multiple hats, bereavement being one, and many others have a single individual tending to all things bereavement, while others have adopted other unique variations.
This monthly chat explored a variety of staffing models for the provision of bereavement services, expanded your understanding of the strengths and challenges inherent in different models of bereavement care, and we discussed the opportunities for and benefits of partnership both within and outside of your organization.
