Hi Nancy we have had a couple of Spiritual Care Staff that also served in a grief support role. I think it works best when the caseloads are small, otherwise one area may not get as much attention and it is usually the Grief Support area. But I can appreciate that often because of the smaller census, counseling roles may take on dual assignments.
