I think my greatest challenge in bereavement, and something I'd like some feedback on, is "justifying" the importance of bereavement in Hospice care to other team members and management.  In particular, being given the time and space needed to both coordinate the tasks associated with bereavement, and also to provide the face-to-face or phone support to families.  It feels like bereavement is often what's attended to after all the needs of live patients & families are met.  That often results in very little time routinely devoted to bereavement.  Any suggestions from other bereavement professionals would be greatly appreciated.
