Bereavement services are a vital component of the hospice experience. While there is variation across organizations in how bereavement interacts and participates in the IDT, there are also successful practices. This Chat discussed and provided guidance for the bereavement/grief counselors participation in the IDT including documentation, rituals, and transitioning to ensure satisfactory preparation for bereavement care for our families.
