Title: End of Life Doulas and the IDT

A newer member to welcome to the hospice team carrying for patients and their caregivers at end of life. Many think of a “Doula” as a person present at childbirth to help “coach” during the birthing process. However, Doula’s can help at the end of life as well.

An end-of-life doulas are non-medical companions to the dying and their families providing a wide range of holistic services, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical support. And now, end of life doulas are joining the hospice team.

Watch the recording to learn more about end of life doulas and how they can become part of the team providing excellent end of life care.
