    Hi everyone

    \

Im curious as to how different hospice aides across the country chart. For example, in my company the aides chart in the office or at home. The other diciplines all have laptops as they have to chart at the bedside but aides do not yet fall under this rule. So how do you all do your charting?

Thank you for your responses in advance. Look forward to hearing from you all

We have been using CellTrak for more than a year with tremendous success!  The plan of care with STNA interventions that have been provided by the Case Manager serves as the documentation template for the hospice aide who marks "completed, not completed, and patient/family refused" in each intervention box.  With "not completed" the hospice aide must add a reason in free text.

We have achieved higher productivity, balanced mileage, and better compliance with TJC and State Board requirements about hospice aides and the plan of care.

we will start using CellTrak on our smart phones about the middle of February and I for one cant wait! We use SunCoast for all of our charting now on the computer and from my understanding there will still be some charting we will have to do on the computer but most of it will now be done through CellTrak. I have been begging for 6 years for aides to be able to chart in the field due to the fact that right now we chart anywhere from 2-4 hours at home and it takes away from family time. I know it will be a learning curve for all of us but I'm excited at learning something new and having more time with family at the end of the day. From what I have researched on CellTrak it appears to be a win for everyone. Our phone triage will be able to look on an online map and see where we are, making their job easier and faster at finding those of us that may be in that area in a crisis and it will have our care plans on it as well, which eliminates the need for so much paper waste. I am excited at the possibilities with the new system
