Hello, I'm wondering how many hospices offer complicated grief treatment for their clients who manifest complicated grief symptoms? Or do you refer out to psychotherapists in the community?

We are offering a West Coast (Northern California) complicated grief workshop just to train ourselves and the community, hosted by Dr. Katherine Shear from Columbia University on March 25. If interested, see https://www.eventbrite.com/e/complicated-grief-a-workshop-for-professionals-tickets-31883842431?aff=es2.

    Thank you,

If Complicated Grief is recognized, beyond the support we provide through our hospice - supportive phone calls, supportive home visits, support group opportunities, we will refer to either counseling services, spiritual services or medical services within their own communities.
