Per CMS bereavement services are non-billable, however some programs utilize grant funding or donations to help their organizations gain adequate financial backing and thus feel more able to provide services like music therapy, grief camps, and more to all of their bereaved equitably. In that way one would also get around not concerns of only providing a special service to some of the bereaved but not all due to payor source.
