Has anyone offered a grief support group specifically for people whose loved ones have died of COVID? In the last month I've been contacted by 3 different people to offer support for COVID deaths. None of those have been on our hospice service. I would love to talk to someone who is offering this kind of group.

    Hi Carroll,

Yes, we have been offering a COVID Survivors grief support group through Zoom twice a month (1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month) for probably a year and a half or more now.  Participants in the group include both community bereaved as well as bereaved whose loved ones died from COVID while on our hospice service.  Generally, the group has been averaging between 5 to 8 participants and those who have been attending express a deep appreciation for having a space to address issues that specifically surround a death from COVID.  We are working on ways to get the word out more in the surrounding community about this group as we believe there are many more who might want to participate.

I found this online for a couple of people inquiring about groups:
One of the offerings is a COVID-19 Loss group. They do accept people outside of their hospice service area
    but they need to register.
