Hi Jennifer,
I have started using WebEx for support groups and counseling sessions. I was concerned for my elderly population that were not computer savvy users. To my surprise, I only had one that was adamant about not participating until we came back as a group, face to face. The participant did not want to call in either.
I have a large rural population and I was concerned with connectivity issues. I have had a couple of individuals have problems accessing the link. One in particular was an "Apple" user. This participant called Apple and received assistance with downloading and connectivity. I have since did a test-run and now that participant will be able to join our next meeting.
The group seems to like it. As a facilitator, it is definitely different. I typically would bring in arts and crafts in the "real" space and now I question how I might do that in a "virtual" space. Counseling sessions have been great for all who have participated. The younger generation has had no problem and they love it. I have not used WebEx whiteboard or shared my screen at this time; however, I have used those features in Zoom.
Right now, this is a temporary solution to our current situation. If it becomes the platform of choice, or if we choose to continue to offer this platform, then I will add forms and other documentation for this service.
I hope this was helpful.
Lisa

Aloha folks,
There's been a helpful post about using Zoom for online support groups or individual sessions. Is anyone using WebEx in the same capacity & how is that going for you?
Thanks!
