    Hi;

    \

    We have an on-line grief discussion forum. It is not a live egroup. There are topics, people can reply. We have more views than replies, but because of the high number of views we believe it is worth it. It meets the need of the long distance bereaved as well as the person down the block who wants to remain anonymous or seek support in the middle of the night.

    \

    You can see it at http://hospicewr.org/discussions/grief/If you click the log-in, you will see the terms, etc.  We did have an attorney review it. The forums are moderated and all replies must be approved before going live.

    \

    We were initially worried something negative might happen, but it never did. I did contact one person via email who seemed to really be struggling.

    \

    I would love to hear if others have a live on-line group happening.

    Does anyone know the pros and cons of online discussion and/or support groups?  I see this post is from 2014 and I wander if there's more discussion that has occurred since then.
