Bereavement Professional

I was wondering if someone can clearify the minium qualifications of the bereavement coordinator. After reading the COP it describes a  "professional" I was wondering if anyone can expand on this. Also, we were looking at combining the Bereavement & Chaplain positions and I was wondering if anyone else has done this in their agancy and how that has worked. 

WE have combined the positions and it has worked well.  Our bereavement coordinator/spiritual counselor is both an ordained minister and certified beravement counselor.
