In March's Bereavement Professional Section Chat we had guest speaker Michelle Post join us; she's an expert using social media for the grieving community. She focused on some of the readily available online grief support resources as well as how to leverage those services and provided great suggestions on how to bolster FaceBook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. You have to check out the PPT slides and handouts she so graciously sent for you all to have as a guidance to get yours started within your own organizations.NOTE: Attached are several options for disclaimers from OneLegacy, including our change from closed to open, and from others like Living Legacy Foundation and LAORA's policy about social media use for staff. Feel free to adapt as needed. Attached is also a step by step ideas in starting a Facebook group from back in 2012. So, it's a bit old, but should be relatively similar to starting one now.
