Thank you for being part of NHPCO's online community, MyNHPCO. By joining the community and using the tools available, you agree that you have read and will follow the rules and guidelines set for the community.

The Rules

The online discussions are meant to promote professional development and stimulate conversation, not to create contention. Do not challenge or attack others. Let others have their say, just as you may.

Reserve discussions, postings, and related activity for topics best suited to the medium and professional discourse for the field.

Do not post commercial messages on MyNHPCO. The promotion of services and products may only be done through approved advertisements or in discussions outside of the MyNHPCO environment. This includes, but is not limited to, job openings/opportunities, business acquisitions, and education programs not affiliated with NHPCO or its Affiliate Organizations. Contact people directly with product and service information if you believe it may help them.

Use caution when reviewing or discussing products. Information posted on the lists is available for all to see, and comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.

Discussion of fees is prohibited.

All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal material is strictly prohibited. All postings are identified by member's name and links to their profile. Do not post anything on MyNHPCO or in a discussion message that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you. NHPCO does not editorially control postings; however, NHPCO reserves the right to delete any messages that, in the sole discretion, are inappropriate for the group.

NHPCO does not regularly monitor any discussion group. Participants who suspect that unauthorized or illegal activity is occurring in a MyNHPCO forum should report such activity to the NHPCO at NHPCO will investigate complaints of possible policy violations and take action the organization believes appropriate, including, but not limited to issuing warnings, removing content and terminating accounts and/or subscriptions. However, because situations and interpretations vary, NHPCO also reserves the right to take no action.

Do not post any information or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner. By posting material, the posting party warrants and represents that it owns the copyright or has received permission from the copyright owner. In addition, the posting party grants NHPCO and users of the discussion group the non-exclusive right and license to display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, print and use such information or other material.

NHPCO retains the right to reproduce postings to discussion groups.

Messages should not be posted if they encourage or facilitate members to arrive at any agreement that either expressly or impliedly leads to price fixing, a boycott of another's business, or other conduct intended to illegally restrict free trade. Messages that encourage or facilitate an agreement about the following subjects are inappropriate: prices, discounts, or terms or conditions of sale; salaries; profits, profit margins, or cost data; market shares, sales territories, or markets; allocation of customers or territories; or selection, rejection, or termination of customers or suppliers.

These Groups are provided as a service to current NHPCO members by NHPCO. NHPCO is not responsible for the opinions and information posted on MyNHPCO by others. NHPCO disclaims all warranties with regard to information posted on this site, whether posted by NHPCO or any third party; this disclaimer includes all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness. In no event shall NHPCO be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of any information posted on this site.

NHPCO reserves the right to terminate access to any user who does not abide by these guidelines.
